1991: The Mets hit six doubles (five in the third inning) in a 9-4 win over the Dodgers at Shea Stadium.
1997: The Mets defeat the Reds, 5-3, to complete a sweep of a four-game series at Shea Stadium. Carl Everett hits two home runs and John Franco records his 200th save as a Met.
