1980: Roy Lee Jackson strikes out 12 batters and the Mets collect 20 hits in a 13-3 win over the Reds at Cincinnati.
1987: After a rain delay of more than an hour, Kevin McReynolds singles to drive in the winning run in the 11th inning for a 6-5 Mets victory over the Reds at Shea Stadium.
1992: Dick Schofield drives in six runs with a double and a home run as the Mets defeat the Giants, 8-4, at Shea Stadium.
1993: The Mets defeat the Padres, 2-1, in 10 innings at San Diego. Eric Hillman faces 25 batters in pitching eight shutout innings. Charlie O'Brien hits a home run to win it for the Mets.
