Jorge Fabregas

Jorge Febregas was a catcher for the Mets in 1998. He played in 20 games with the team. Fabregas had six hits and three runs scored as a Met.
On July 31, 1988, Fabregas came to the Mets in a trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He hit a two-run homer in a 5-4 Mets loss in 14 innings at St. Louis on August 12. Jorge singled three times in the Mets' 6-3 win over the Rockies on August 18 at Shea Stadium. He also had a two-run single in a 9-8 Mets defeat at San Diego on September 1.
Fabregas was dealt to the Marlins after the '98 season. He played in the major leagues for four more years. Jorge concluded his career with the Brewers in 2002.
