Jon Nunnally

Jon Nunnally was an outfielder for the Mets in 2000. He played in 48 games with the team. Nunnally had 14 hits and 16 runs scored as a Met.
Nunnally came to the Mets in a trade with the Boston Red Sox in December of 1999. He played all three outfield positions for the Mets in the 2000 season. At Philadelphia on April 10, Jon had two doubles and two runs scored in a 9-7 Mets loss to the Phillies. He hit a two-run homer in the Mets’ 12-9 victory at Pittsburgh on April 16. Nunnally tripled and scored the Mets’ only run of a 12-1 defeat to the Reds on April 26 at Shea Stadium. He led off the first inning with a home run at San Francisco on May 3. Jon also scored two runs in a 12-9 Mets win at St. Louis on May 27.
On June 8, 2000, Nunnally was released by the Mets. He played in the minor leagues from 2001 to 2005. Jon concluded his playing career in Mexico in 2006.
