Joe DePastino

Joe DePastino was a catcher for the Mets in 2003. He played in two games with the team. DiPastino had two hitless at bats as a Met.

In '03, DePastino came to the Mets from their AAA-level team in Norfolk. He grounded out in the ninth inning of a 10-1 Mets win at Houston on August 5. Joe also struck out in an 11-1 Mets defeat to the Astros one day later.

DePastino played two more seasons of minor and independent league ball to conclude his career. From 2008 to 2010, he was the manager for the Tigers' A-level team in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
