Jim Lindeman
From The Met Wiki
Jim Lindeman was an outfielder for the Mets in 1994. He batted .270 in 52 games with the team. Lindeman hit seven homers and drove in 20 runs as a Met.
After eight seasons in the major leagues, Lindeman signed with the Mets as a free agent. He began the '94 season at AAA-level Norfolk before joining the team in May. At Pittsburgh on May 25, Jim had two doubles and a run scored in the Mets' 6-3 victory. He singled and hit a two-run homer in a 10-7 Mets win at San Diego on July 1. Lindeman homered in the 10th inning to give the Mets a 2-1 victory on July 4 at San Francisco. He also homered for the Mets' only run of a 2-1 loss in 15 innings at Philadelphia on August 11, which turned out to be the final Mets game of the strike-shortened season and the last for Jim in his career.
Lindeman went on to become a high school teacher and coach.
