Jerry May

Jerry May was a catcher for the Mets in 1973. He played in four games with the team. May had two hits in eight times at bat as a Met.

May was purchased by the Mets from the Kansas City Royals during his tenth major league season in '73. In his Mets debut at Los Angeles on May 24, he got a pair of singles in the team's 7-3 win in 19 innings. Jerry made three more appearances before being sidelined with an injury. He was released by the Mets on July 30 to end his career.
