Jerry Cram

Jerry Cram was a pitcher for the Mets in 1974 and 1975. He made 14 relief appearances for the team. Cram had a 2.30 earned run average as a Met.
Cram pitched 27 and one-third innings during his two seasons in New York. In '74, he made his debut with the team with one and one-third scoreless innings on August 11 against the Reds at Shea Stadium. Jerry pitched shutout ball from the 17th inning to the 24th against the Cardinals at Shea on September 11. The Mets lost this game, 4-3, in the 25th.
After another season in the Mets' organization, Cram was dealt to the Kansas City Royals. He appeared in four games for the Kansas City team in 1976. Jerry continued to pitch for the Royals' AAA-level team in Omaha until 1981.
