Jeremy Griffiths was a pitcher for the Mets in 2003. He made six starts and three relief appearances for the team. Griffiths had one win and 25 strikeouts as a Met.
Griffiths joined the Mets from their AAA-level team in Norfolk during the '03 season. In his major league debut on June 5, he pitched two shutout innings in an 8-7 Mets loss to the Brewers at Shea Stadium. Jeremy had seven innings pitched and got his only major league win in the Mets' 13-5 victory over the Cardinals at Shea on August 3. He also struck out six batters in six and one-third innings in a 3-2 Mets win over the Braves on September 1 at Shea.
In 2004, Griffiths was traded to the Astros. He appeared in one game with the Houston team. Jeremy concluded his career with the Nashua Pride of the independent Atlantic League in 2005.
