Jason Vargas

Jason Vargas was a pitcher for the Mets in 2007. He made two starts for the team. Vargas had 10 and one-third innings pitched as a Met.

After two seasons with the Marlins, Vargas was traded to the Mets for the '07 season. He pitched seven innings in the team's 6-5 win over the Cubs on May 17 at Shea Stadium. Jason was tagged with the loss in an 11-3 Mets defeat at Colorado on July 3. He also pitched in 24 games for the Mets' AAA-level team in New Orleans in '07.

In 2008, Vargas was traded to the Mariners in a multi-player deal. He recorded twelve wins for the Seattle team in 2009 and 2010.
