Jason Tyner

Jason Tyner was an outfielder for the Mets in 2000. He played in 13 games with the team. Tyner had eight hits, three runs scored and five runs batted in as a Met.
In 2000, Tyner joined the Mets from their AAA-level team in Norfolk. In his major league debut on June 5, he singled twice and drove in a run in the Mets' 4-2 loss to the Orioles at Shea Stadium. Jason singled, doubled and scored twice in a 12-2 Mets victory over the Yankees on June 9. He also had a single and a run scored in a 3-2 Mets defeat at Milwaukee on June 17.
Tyner was traded to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on July 28, 2000. He played for the Rays until 2003. Jason appeared in 194 games the Twins between 2005 and 2007. He had one game played with the Indians in 2008. Tyner concluded his career in the minor leagues in 2009.
