Jason Middlebrook

Jason Middlebrook was a pitcher for the Mets in 2002 and 2003. He appeared in eight games with the team. Middlebrook had one win and 17 strikeouts as a Met.

Middlebrook came to the Mets from the Padres during the '02 season. At Montreal on September 12, he was the winning pitcher in the Mets' 8-2 victory over the Expos. Jason also struck out five batters in six innings in an eventual 3-2 Mets win over the Cubs in 12 innings at Shea Stadium on September 19.

In '03, Middlebrook had seven innings pitched with the Mets. He also had seven wins in 23 games for the team's AAA-level team in Norfolk during the year. Jason concluded his career with the Angels' AAA-level team in Salt Lake City in 2004.
