Jackson Todd

Jackson Todd was a pitcher for the Mets in 1977. He pitched 71 and two-thirds innings with the team. Todd won three games and recorded 39 strikeouts as a Met.
After three relief appearances, Todd made his first major league start at Shea Stadium on May 19, 1977. He pitched seven shutout innings to earn the win in the Mets' 4-3 victory over the Giants. Jackson singled for his only major league hit in the game. At Cincinnati on May 22, Todd pitched scoreless 10th and 11th innings for the win in a 4-3 Mets triumph over the Reds in the second game of a doubleheader. Jackson was also the winning pitcher in the Mets' 5-3 victory over the Expos at Shea on September 6.
In March of 1978, Todd was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies. He pitched the '78 season for the Phils' AAA-level team in Oklahoma City. Jackson appeared in 45 games for the Toronto Blue Jays from 1979 to 1981. He continued to pitch in the minor leagues until 1985.
