Gustavo Molina

Gustavo Molina was a catcher for the Mets in 2008. He played in two games with the team. Molina had one hit in seven at bats as a Met.
After splitting the previous season between the White Sox and Orioles, Molina joined the Mets as a free agent in ‘08. He singled and drew a walk in the Mets’ 4-3 win over the Braves at Shea Stadium on April 26. Gustavo also appeared in a 13-1 Mets defeat to the Pirates on April 30 at Shea. He also played in 74 games for the Mets’ AAA-level team in New Orleans during the season.
In 2009, Molina played for the Nationals’ AAA-level team in Syracuse. He appeared in four games with the Red Sox the following year. Gustavo joined the Yankees’ organization in 2011.
