Felix Heredia was a pitcher for the Mets in 2005. He appeared in three games with the team. Heredia had two and two-thirds scoreless innings pitched as a Met.

In ’05, Heredia came to the Mets after nine seasons in the major leagues. He struck out two batters in a perfect eighth inning in the Mets’ 6-1 loss at Cincinnati on April 7. Felix pitched a scoreless bottom of the sixth in a 6-3 Mets defeat at Atlanta on April 9. He retired two batters in a 5-4 Mets loss at Philadelphia on April 18. Heredia also made five relief appearances for the Mets’ AAA-level team in Norfolk during the year.

Heredia pitched for the Indians’ AAA-level Buffalo team and the Mexican League’s Sultanes de Monterrey in 2006. He continued to pitch in Mexico until 2009.
