Emil Brown was an outfielder for the Mets in 2009. He played in three games with the team. Brown had one hit in five at bats as a Met.

Brown had spent nine seasons in the major leagues before joining the Mets in '09. He made his debut with the team as a pinch-hitter in an 11-6 Mets loss at Pittsburgh on June 4. Emil drew a walk in a 3-1 Mets victory at Washington on June 5. He also got a single in a 7-1 Mets defeat at Washington on June 6.

Brown was released by the Mets' organization in July of '09.
