Doug Mientkiewicz
From The Met Wiki
Doug Mientkiewicz came to the Mets in a trade with the Red Sox for Ian Bladergroen to Boston before the 2005 season. Mientkiewicz last play before joining the Mets was the putout that clinched the Red Sox first World Series victory in 86 years. Nobody had requested the ball, and Mientkiewicz kept it, and it began an ugly public controversy. Mientkiewicz and the Sox eventually reached an agreement, and ball is now in the Major League's Hall of Fame.
Mientkiewicz did not spend much time with the Mets, but some Mets fans will remember him for his amazing glove. Others will remember him for saying bad things about the Mets just before leaving them. He hit .240 with 11 Home Runs in 87 games. He only played one season with the Mets.
Doug has played for 12 seasons and has played for seven teams, other then the Twins he has played no more then one season with six teams.
