Dick Tidrow

Dick Tidrow was a pitcher for the Mets in 1984. He made 11 relief appearances with the team. Tidrow had eight strikeouts in 15 and one-third innings pitched as a Met.

Before joining the Mets, Tidrow had pitched twelve seasons with the Indians, Yankees, Cubs and White Sox. He pitched a perfect eighth inning in an '84 season-opening 8-1 Mets loss at Cincinnati on April 2. Dick was given his release by the Mets on May 8, 1984 to end his major league career.
