Denny Walling

Denny Walling was a coach for the Mets in 2003 and 2004. He served as the team's hitting instructor in his two seasons on the staff.

Walling played in the major leagues for 18 seasons. He had a .271 career batting average with the Athletics, Astros, Cardinals and Rangers. Denny was the hitting instructor for the Athletics from 1996 to 1998. Following his time with the Mets, he left professional baseball.
