Darrin Jackson

Darrin Jackson was an outfielder for the Mets in 1993. He played in 31 games with the team. Jackson had 17 hits and seven runs batted in as a Met.
During his eight major league season, Jackson came to the Mets from the Toronto Blue Jays in ’93. At Atlanta on June 15, he homered for the Mets’ only run in a 2-1 loss to the Braves. Darrin singled twice and drove in a run in an 8-5 Mets loss to the Cardinals at Shea Stadium on June 25. He had a single and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the Mets’ 5-4 win over the Phillies on September 14 at Shea. Jackson also had a pinch-hit single and scored the winning run in a 3-2 Mets victory in 10 innings at Atlanta on September 18.
In 1994, Jackson played for the Chicago White Sox. He spent two years with the Seibu Lions in Japan and split the 1997 season between the Twins and Brewers. In 1998, Darrin played for the Milwaukee team in its first season in the National League. He ended his career with the White Sox in 1999.
