Darren O'Day

Darren O'Day was a pitcher for the Mets in 2009. He made four relief appearances for the team. O'Day had a total of three innings pitched as a Met.

O'Day came to the Mets after one season withthe Angels. In his first game with the team on April 9, he pitched two-thirds of an inning in an 8-6 Mets loss at Cincinnati. Darren had one and one-third innings pitched in the Mets' 8-4 win at Florida on April 11. He also pitched a perfect sixth inning in a 6-5 Mets loss to the Padres on April 16 at Citi Field.

On April 22, 2009, O'Day was claimed on waivers by the Texas Rangers.
