Darren Bragg was an outfielder for the Mets in 2001. He played in 18 games with the team. Bragg had 15 hits and five runs batted in as a Met.
In '01, Bragg joined the Mets after seven years in the major leagues. He drove in four runs with a single and a double in an 8-0 Mets win over the Dodgers at Shea Stadium on May 18. darren had a single and a pair of doubles in the Mets' 3-0 loss at Montreal on May 22. He singled three times, doubled and scored three runs in an 11-3 Mets victory over the Marlins on May 24 at Shea. Bragg also had a run-scoring single in a 6-3 Mets defeat to the Phillies at Shea on May 30.
Bragg was claimed on waivers by the Yankees on June 12, 2001. He continued to play in the major leagues for another three seasons. In 2005, Darren concluded his career with the Nashua Pride of the independent Atlantic League.
