Craig Paquette

Craig Paquette was an infielder for the Mets in 1998. He played in seven games with the team. Paquette had five hits for seven total bases as a Met.

In '98, Paquette came to the Mets after five seasons with the Athletics and Royals. He had a single and a run scored in a 5-2 Mets win over the Rockies at Shea Stadium in May 3. Craig singled and scored in the Mets' 4-2 loss to the Diamondbacks on May 4 at Shea. He also singled, doubled and scored a run in a 9-1 Mets victory over the D'Backs on May 5 at Shea.

Paquette spent the first half of the 1999 season with the Mets' AAA-level team in Norfolk. He was traded to the Cardinals on July 31. Craig played with the St. Louis team until 2001 and two years with the Detroit Tigers. In 2007, he played for the Camden Riversharks of the independent Atlantic League.
