Craig Brazell

Craig Brazell was a first baseman for the Mets in 2004. He played in 24 games with the team. Brazell had nine hits for 14 total bases as a Met.
Brazell joined the Mets from their AAA-level team in Norfolk in '04. At Florida on September 8, he doubled for his first major league hit in a 3-0 Mets loss to the Marlins. Craig hit a two-run double that put the Mets ahead to stay in a 9-7 win over the Braves in the first game of a doubleheader at Shea Stadium on September 13. He homered in the bottom of the 11th inning to give the Mets a 4-3 victory over the Cubs on September 25 at Shea. One day later, Brazell singled twice and scored a run in the Mets' 3-2 victory over the Cubs.
In 2005, Brazell played in 52 games at Norfolk. He spent the next two seasons in the Dodgers' and Royals' systems and appeared in five games with the Kanses City team. Craig continued his career in Japan with the Seibu Lions in 2008. He joined the Hanshin Tigers of Japan's Central League one year later.
