Chris Young

Chris Young is a pitcher for the Mets. He joined the team in 2011. Young had pitched for the Rangers and Padres for seven seasons before coming to the Mets.

Young made four starts for the Mets in ’11. He compiled 24 innings pitched during the year. On April 5, Chris recorded a win and had three singles (two in one inning) in the Mets’ 7-1 victory at Philadelphia. He also pitched seven innings of two-hit shutout ball in a 2-1 Mets win in 14 innings at Philadelphia on May 1.
