Chris Chambliss

Chris Chambliss was a coach for the Mets in 2002. He served under manager Bobby Valentine in his lone season on the team's staff. Chris was the Mets' hitting instructor.
As a player, Chambliss spent 17 seasons in the major leagues. He collected 2109 hits with the Indians, Yankees, Braves. Chris served as a hitting instructor for the Cardinals and Yankees before joining the Mets. He later served the same role with the Reds.
