Chris Capuano

Chris Capuano is a pitcher for the Mets. He joined the team in 2011 after six seasons with the Diamondbacks and Brewers.

In the ’11 season, Capuano pitched in 33 games with the Mets. He recorded 11 wins and led the team with 168 strikeouts. At Citi Field on April 9, Chris struck out eight batters in six innings pitched and got his first Mets win in the team’s 8-4 victory over the Nationals. He was the winning pitcher in the Mets’ 7-4 triumph at Houston on May 15. Capuano had seven strikeouts in six shutout innings for the win in a 4-1 Mets victory over the Athletics on June 23 at Citi Field. He pitched a two-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts in a 6-0 Mets win over the Braves at Citi Field on August 26. Chris also got the win in the Mets’ 12-2 victory at Atlanta on September 16.
