Charlie Hough

Charlie Hough was a coach for the Mets in 2001 and 2002. He served as the team's pitching coach under manager Bobby Valentine.

Hough pitched in the major leagues for 25 seasons. He had 216 wins and 61 saves with the Dodgers, Rangers, Marlins and White Sox from 1970 to 1994. Charlie also served as the Dodgers' pitching coach in 1998 and 1999.

Following his two seasons on the Mets' staff, Hough left professional baseball.
