After playing for the Dodgers, Rangers and Padres Park came to the Mets the offseason before the 2007. He was signed to compete for a starting rotation spot. after a bad spring the Mets sent him down to the AAA team New Orleans Zephyrs.

On April 30 they called him up after Orlando Hernandez got injured. In his first and last start as a Mets he gave up 7 runs in four innings. He was sent back down to the New Orleans Zephyrs on May 3. On June 4 he was designated for assignment.

The Astros picked him up on June 12, he was not that good with the Astros so at the end of the season they did not re-sign him.

in 2008 he went to Korea to play for the Korean team, on April 2 the Dodgers singed him to a minor league deal. His first start back in the majors was on May 17 and he had a OK start against the Angles. In June 21 he became the third pitcher to pitch against all of MLB's 30 teams (Al Leiter was one of the four)

On January 6, 2009 he joined the World Series champion Phillies
