Chad Bradford was a pitcher for the Mets in 2006. He made 70 relief appearances in regular-season play and seven in the post-season. Bradford recorded four wins and two saves as a Met.

After eight seasons in the American League, Bradford joined the Mets as a free agent. He had 62 innings pitched in the Mets ’06 division-winning season. Chad pitched two scoreless innings to get the win in a 4-3 Mets victory over the Pirates in 12 innings at Shea Stadium on May 3. At Milwaukee on May 13, he was the winning pitcher in the Mets’ 9-8 triumph over the Brewers. Bradford pitched one and one-third perfect innings for a save in a 4-1 Mets win at Los Angeles on June 5. He recorded a win in a 9-7 Mets victory at Philadelphia on June 13. Bradford struck out three batters and got a save in the Mets’ 6-2 win over the Reds on June 22 at Shea. He picked up the win in a 3-1 Mets triumph at Washington on August 13. Chad also had five and two-thirds scoreless innings of relief for the Mets in the ’06 National League Division Series and Championship Series.

Bradford pitched for the Orioles and Rays from 2007 to 2009 to conclude his career.
