Bubba Trammell

Bubba Trammell was an outfielder for the Mets in 2000. He played in 36 games with the team. Trammell had 13 hits for 24 total bases as a Met.

Trammell came to the Mets from the Devil Rays during the 2000 season. In his first at bat for the team on July 30, he hit a three-run homer in a 4-2 Mets win over the Cardinals at Shea Stadium. Bubba singled, doubled and scored a run in the Mets' 3-2 victory over the Reds at Shea on August 1. He hit a game-tying home run in an eventual 9-6 Mets triumph at Los Angeles on August 20. Trammell drove in all the Mets' runs with a single and a homer in a 4-3 loss in 11 innings at St. Louis on September 3. He also had a pair of run-scoring singles in the Mets' 9-6 win at Philadelphia on September 22.

On December 11, 2000, Trammell was traded to the Padres. He spent two seasons with the San Diego team. Bubba played in 22 games with the Yankees in 2003. He concluded his career in the minor leagues in 2007.
