Brian Daubach

Brian Daubach was a first baseman for the Mets in 2005. He played in 15 games with the team. Daubach had two doubles, a home run and four runs scored as a Met.

From 1990 to 1996, Daubach played in the Mets' minor league system. He appeared in a total of 689 games at all levels. Brian spent seven years in the major leagues with the Marlins, Red Sox and White Sox. He then returned to the Mets as a free agent.

During the '05 season, Daubach joined the Mets from their AAA-level team in Norfolk. At Oakland on June 16, he walked three times and scored twice in the Mets' 9-6 win over the Athletics. Brian homered in an 8-5 Mets victory at Philadelphia on June 21. He also hit a double in his final major league at bat in the Mets' 6-5 loss in 10 innings at Pittsburgh on July 8.

In 2006, Daubach concluded his career with the Cardinals' AAA-level team in Memphis.
