Brett Hinchliffe was a pitcher for the Mets in 2001. He appeared in one game with the team. Hinchliffe had two strikeouts in two innings pitched as a Met.

Before joining the Mets, Hinchliffe had pitched in 13 games with the Mariners and Angels. His only game with the orange and blue came on April 26, 2001. Brett was tagged with the loss in the team's 12-8 defeat at Milwaukee. Over the rest of the '01 season, he pitched in 11 games with the Mets' AAA-level team in Norfolk to conclude his career.
