Brandon Knight

Brandon Knight was a pitcher for the Mets in 2008. He appeared in four games with the team. Knight had one win and ten strikeouts as a Met.

Knight joined the Mets from their AAA-level team in New Orleans during the ’08 season. In his first Mets game on July 26, he pitched five innings in the team’s 10-8 loss to the Cardinals in 14 innings at Shea Stadium. Brandon had one perfect inning pitched in a 6-2 Mets defeat to the Phillies in the first game of a doubleheader at Shea on September 7. He pitched an inning of a 10-8 Mets win over the Nationals on September 9 at Shea. Knight also pitched five innings and got the win in the Mets’ 9-7 victory at Washington on September 17.

In 2009 and 2010, Knight pitched for the Samsung Lions in South Korea. He joined the Nexen Heroes of Korea in 2011.
