Bobby M. Jones

Bobby M. Jones was a lefthanded pitcher for the Mets in 2000 and 2002. He appeared in 23 games and pitched 38 and two-thirds innings as a member of the team. Jones had 31 strikeouts and an earned run average of 4.66 during his time with the Mets.
Bobby was acquired by the Mets from the Colorado Rockies for Masato Yoshii on January 14, 2000. In his first year in New York, Jones pitched 21 and two-thirds innings in 11 games. In his only start (and decision) as a Met, Bobby was tagged with the loss in a 9-8 defeat to the Florida Marlins in Miami on July 4.
After spending 2001 on the disabled list, Jones pitched in 12 games for the Mets in 2002. He was traded to the San Diego Padres on July 31, 2002. Bobby pitched in four games for the Padres and finished his career with three games for the Boston Red Sox in 2004.
