Bobby Floyd

Bobby Floyd was a coach for the Mets in 2001 and 2004. He served under managers Bobby Valentine and Art Howe during his time on the team's staff.
Floyd had a seven-year career as a major league player. From 1968 and 1974, he had 93 hits in 214 games with the Orioles and Royals. Bobby served as a manager in the Mariners' minor league system between 1977 and 1985. He also managed the Mets' Lynchburg (A) and Kingsport (Rookie) teams from 1986 to 1988.
Floyd was the manager for the Mets' AAA-level team in Norfolk in 2002 and 2003. He also managed the Mets' Rookie-level Gulf Coast team in 2006.
