Bob Hendley was a pitcher for the Mets in 1967. He had 70 and two-thirds innings pitched in 15 games with the team. Hendley won three games and struck out 36 batters as a Met.

Hendley came to the Mets in a trade with the Cubs on June 12, 1967. At Cincinnati on July 13, he was the winning pitcher in a 7-3 Mets victory over the Reds in the first game of a doubleheader. Bob recorded a win in the Mets' 4-2 triumph over the Astros on July 18 at Shea Stadium. He also pitched a complete game four-hitter with seven strikeouts for a 4-1 Mets win over the Dodgers at Shea on July 23.

In 1968, Hendley pitched for the Mets' AAA-level team in Jacksonville. He concluded his career the following year with the Mets' AAA-level Tidewater team in Norfolk, Virginia.
