Blaine Boyer

Blaine Boyer was a pitcher for the Mets in 2011. He made five relief appearances for the team. Boyer had six and two-thirds innings pitched and one save as a Met.

Boyer had pitched six seasons with the Braves, Diamondbacks and Cardinals before joining the Mets in ’11. At Florida on April 2, he recorded a save in the Mets’ 6-4 win over the Marlins in 10 innings. Blaine also pitched a scoreless ninth inning in a 6-2 Mets loss to the Nationals at Citi Field on April 8.
