1989: The Mets defeat the Dodgers, 1-0, at Los Angeles. In a game that features both of the previous season's Cy Young Award winners, Frank Viola pitches a three-hit shutout for a victory over Orel Hershiser.

2003: Jose Reyes hits home runs from both sides of the plate to drive in all the Mets' runs in a 3-1 win at Atlanta.
