1965: John Stephenson hits a three-run double in the ninth inning to give the Mets a 4-3 win over the Dodgers at Shea Stadium.

1969: The Mets defeat the Dodgers, 7-4, to complete a sweep of a three-game series at Shea Stadium. The win finishes off a home stand in which the Mets won nine games and lost one.

1973: Jerry Koosman pitches a complete game shutout in the Mets' 1-0 win over the Giants in 10 innings.

1992: Dwight Gooden hits a two-run homer to put the Mets ahead to stay in a 4-1 victory over the Giants at San Francisco. Gooden is the winning pitcher in the game.

1993: Jeff McKnight triples and scores on a wild pitch in the ninth inning to give the Mets a 5-4 win over the Reds at Shea Stadium.

1995: The Mets score three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat the Padres, 5-4.

2002: The Mets score four runs with two out in the ninth inning to defeat the Rockies, 5-2, at Colorado. The win snaps a 12-game losing streak for the Mets.

2003: John Franco gets his last save as a Met in a 2-1 win over the Dodgers.

2010: Carlos Beltran and Luis Castillo single home the tying and winning runs in the eighth and ninth innings for a 6-5 Mets victory over the Marlins at Citi Field.
