1964: The Mets defeat the Pirates, 7-3, at Shea Stadium. Al Jackson pitches a complete game and Joe Christopher gets four extra-base hits for 12 total bases.

1966: The Mets defeat the Pirates, 9-5, at Shea Stadium. Rob Gardner is the winning pitcher despite allowing four home runs.

1973: The Mets collect 16 hits in a 12-1 win over the Reds at Shea Stadium. Don Hahn hits a three-run homer and John Milner hits a grand slam.

1981: The Mets defeat the Braves, 4-0, at Atlanta. Ed Lynch and Neil Allen combine for a six-hit shutout. Dave Kingman drives in three runs with a double and two homers.

2003: Steve Trachsel pitches a one-hit shutout over the Rockies at Shea Stadium. The Mets win, 8-0.

2009: The Mets set a team record with ten hits in an inning in a 9-4 win over the Braves. The hits come in an eight-run fourth that includes two doubles by Gary Sheffield.
