1975: Craig Swan wins his first major league game of the year as the Mets defeat the Giants, 4-2, at Shea Stadium.
1977: Pat Zachry pitches a complete game in a 5-1 Mets win over the Cardinals at St. Louis.
1987: The Mets defeat the Cubs, 23-10, setting a new club record for runs in a game. Ron Darling is the winning pitcher. Darryl Strawberry, Len Dykstra and Howard Johnson hit home runs.
1988: The Mets score nine runs in the first inning and defeat the Giants, 13-6, at San Francisco.
